Evaporative air cooling is a natural way of cooling similar to a breeze across the water that lowers the temperature at the beach.
Put simply: when water evaporates into the air, the result is a mixture of air and water molecules. This chemical change requires heat, so energy or latent heat is taken from the air molecules and the acual temerature of the air is lowered.
